Fédt Co. operates fedtco.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit our website, purchase products, create an account, contact us, or subscribe to our emails.

Information we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number if provided, and order details.
When you create an account, we store the account information you provide. If you contact us, subscribe to our emails, or submit a review or comment, we collect the information you submit.
Our website and service providers also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and shopping session information, to operate the website, process transactions, and help prevent fraud and spam.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
Process payments, fulfill orders, and arrange delivery.
Send order confirmations and other order-related communications.
Manage customer and wholesale accounts.
Respond to questions and customer service requests.
Send marketing emails to subscribers.
Understand website traffic and improve our website.
Maintain security and meet applicable accounting and legal obligations.
Payments
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles payment information according to its own privacy policy. We receive transaction information needed to confirm payments, manage orders, and process refunds.

Email subscriptions and Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp to manage newsletter subscriptions and send marketing emails. Information provided through signup forms, such as your name and email address, is transferred to Mailchimp for this purpose.
Our WooCommerce integration also supports synchronization of customer and order information with Mailchimp. We have disabled the setting that imports new non-subscribed contacts. Information transferred before this change may remain in Mailchimp unless separately removed.
Mailchimp shopping cart tracking and its optional landing page tracking are disabled in our store integration. We do not send automated abandoned-cart reminder emails.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary communications about your orders.

Website statistics
We use Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, to understand website traffic, including page views, visitor counts, and referral sources.
Jetpack Stats processes information such as IP addresses, browser information, pages visited, referring website addresses, visit timestamps, browser language, and country information. Depending on a visitor’s WordPress.com login status, it may also process WordPress.com account identifiers.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support shopping carts, checkout, account login, and saved preferences.
Disabling Mailchimp cart tracking does not disable the cookies needed for your shopping cart and checkout to function.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.
Reviews and comments
When you submit a review or comment, we collect the information shown in the submission form. Approved submissions and the public display name you provide may appear on the website.
IP addresses and browser information may be processed to help detect spam. Submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
If Gravatar is used to display a profile image alongside a comment, an anonymized string derived from your email address may be sent to that service. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
How information is shared
We share information as needed with providers that support our business, including:
Website hosting, maintenance, and security providers.
Payment processors.
Shipping and delivery providers.
Email delivery and marketing providers.
Website analytics and spam prevention services.
Services supporting tax calculations and order administration.
For example, delivery providers receive information needed to deliver your order, and payment processors receive information needed to process your payment.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
How long we retain information
Our store does not currently have a fixed automatic deletion schedule for customer accounts or order records. These records may therefore be retained indefinitely unless removed through a separate process.
You can request deletion by emailing hello@fedtco.com. We may retain information needed for accounting, tax, legal, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
Reviews and comments may remain published unless removed. Newsletter information remains in our email platform until removed or otherwise managed. After an unsubscribe request, limited information may be retained to honor your communication preferences.
Our service providers may retain information under their own policies and applicable obligations. Our store’s retention settings do not control every copy held by those providers.
Your choices and requests
You can update available account information by logging into your account.
You may contact hello@fedtco.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
We handle requests in accordance with applicable law. Some information may need to be retained for accounting, tax, legal, or security purposes.
Links and embedded content
Our website may contain links to other websites or embedded content, such as videos or images. Those services may collect information, use cookies, or monitor interactions under their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. For material changes, we will also post a website notice and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
